I have to read it for my history class and I want to know if I will retain all the information in one sitting or if it will be so boring that I'll have to start reading it weeks in advance. I can read pretty fast.

The book is not boring, nor is it hard to understand. It really beats you over the head with its point, and the socialist idealogy is easy enough to catch on to. you won't be able to read it in one sitting, but you'll be able to get through it in a weekend.

Not boring if you like filthy stock yards, blood, and politics....This book by the way changed our health laws in America to the better in great ways.

Knowledge takes WORK and if you ever want to know anything stop being worried about being bored and expand your MIND!
