This started when i was at my mom's aunt's place and i was so bored and annoyed at the people around me that i sent my man a txt like 'help! i'm in republican hell. Theres welfare babies everywhere!'

He replied 'at least your not in democrat heaven all the babies would be hanging from coat hangers'

I don't need you to b**** at us for what we said, just wondering what you think a stereotype republican's and/or democrat's version of heaven and hell is?

hahaha...

hmmm...

republican heaven: everyone is issued automatic weapons at the door and you just kill each other all the time... then the person comes back to life (where are you going to go when you die in Heaven, Detroit?) and you start all over for eternity... God's the referee and promotes those who are most devious (or opportunistic as the Republicans say)...

democratic heaven... possible orgies... maybe some alcohol... maybe some weed... like a big college party... with hendricks jamming with jesus, jerry garcia and john lennon on the main stage...

hells...

republican... you have to work all day, every day and at the end of the week you get your paycheck and everything but 2 cents is taxed... and when they invest the 2 cents, the stock market goes down every day... and there's nothing you can do about it..

democrat... where you work all day, every day in unsafe conditions and at the end of the week, you get your pay check and you were only paid 2 cents, because that was the pay rate... and every day the boss that does nothing dances around in his fancy clothes and drives nice cars, because of your hard work... and there's nothing you can do about it...

Democrat Heaven: Solve the problem and move on.

Republican Heaven: Evangelize, go to war, and damn the poor!

P.S. Social welfare is not about a "free ride", it's about a "leg up". Help the poor to a higher place, where they can begin to support themselves - make them feel that they have a place in society, and that if they're competent, they will be accepted. In order to understand this, you first need to accept the fact that not all people are "good". There will always be persons who take advantage of the system, this is a social problem and should be addressed by society, not the government. In the mean time, lets make sure our citizens *all* have enough to eat, a good school to attend, and good physical, mental, and dental health. Once we're all assured of these things, sit back and watch the country thrive.

I am not a Christian, or religious in any way but I'd also like you to consider: Jesus was all about charity, forgiveness, and peace. If he were here today, he sure as hell would NOT be a republican (I don't know that he'd be a democrat either, but certainly he'd find the republican party repugnant), which means that all you evangelical republicans out there are completely off your rockers, and need to spend some time reading your New Testament.

Heaven for Democrats: Full employment, with people making a living wage, good public schools, and having a system of universal health insurance. The United States would regain it's place as an inspiration to the world.

Heaven for (some) Republicans: A small group of people would manage the wealth of the world, and keep that wealth into perpetuity by passing it on to their family. The rest of the world would grovel at their feet, and would feel grateful for the crumbs the wealthy bestowed upon them.

Hell for Democrats: Heaven for (some) Republicans.

Hell for (some) Republicans: Having to pay taxes, and send their children to public school

Hell has been having George Bush in power since January, 2001.

Heaven was the 8 years preceding that when we had a real president who knew what he was doing. And future heaven will be when a Democrat is elected in 2008.

In the late 18th century two parties formed, the federalists and the democratic-republicans. The democratic-republican party split in 1825, and gave way to the democrats. The Republicans were founded in 1854 by people who opposed slavery. The Democrats believe in a strong central government, while republicans believe in a week central government. Conservatives stand for lower taxes, capitalism, and anti-abortion. The democrats stand for high taxes, welfare, pro-choice, etc. I personally am a Republican and believe in the importance of working hard.

Republican heaven= Everyone works hard and keeps what they earn.
Democrat hell= Having to go all the way to Republican heaven to get a hand out.
Republican hell=Seeing Clinton's face on a dollar bill.
Democrat heaven=Not having to work, because they're grabbing all those Clinton dollar bills the Republicans are throwing away.

Democrats don't believe in hell and may not believe in heaven either. Therefore they are doomed to Republicans' hell, and that version would be that everybody there that everybody looks exactly the same and thinks exactly the same and talks exactly the same. That way they have to listen to their tired old tirade over and over again knowing it won't do any good.

Republicans believe in the hell and heaven of the Bible.

that was a mean joke, but i see it like this:
republican heaven: color coded neighborhoods, like in rich neighborhoods
republican hell: living near public transportation, like everybody else

democratic heaven: peace for all, kinda like the real heaven, no worries, everybody loves one another
democratic hell: living in America now, control is in the wrong hands
