psp system?

what does this have on it and whats so special about it?

Well check Playstation.com for details,i like it since it combines a lot of stuff into a little portable,the games are great i have 17 of them so far.Also most of the games combine a lot of action and adventure one of my favorites is Megaman Powered Up!.
Also the screen is bigger than other portables.You should check it out.

Not too much, it's pretty expensive but it does play movies and music. But buying a minidvd player and an ipod or something would be a much better use of time. Games for it are somewhat okay... I never see people play psp's in public, if you're in the market for simple fun handheld gaming, go for an Nintendo DS Lite. (The Lite ones are just the smaller ones and they look better)

tell you what, its 20x better than a DS...first of all it plays games, movies(thru UMD, or memorystick duo), and music. plus it has a built in webbrowser which u can browse the web with, it has ad hoc and infrastructure mode, u need wifi hotspot or cellphone based wirless internet in order to go online....It has widescreen LCD which is very sensitive to scratches and dead pixels

just be sure to pick up the entertainment pack ($250 USD) or a value pack($199) and atleast a 1 gig pro duo memorystick,

u can also MOD it, so you can play homebrews, and use a O/S in it like- windows 95

plus the games have way better graphics than ps2 games in my opinion, and good games like grand theft auto series which is exclusively for psp
