If it was serious it would hurt like heck.

Get some burn ointment.

Did it hurt when you burned yourself? If there was no pain, it's a third degree burn involving nerve damage, and you need to see a doctor immediately.

If it hurt, at least we know it's a second degree burn, which is still bad, but you can try to treat it yourself. Clean your arm with clean water and a very mild soap. Be gentle, try not to remove any remaining scab. Put some antibiotic salve, like Neosporin on it, and tape a piece of sterile gauze over the whole burn. You can get all this stuff at a drugstore.

Keep it dry and covered for a few days, and if it starts to get better, just keep cleaning it, using the antibiotic, and bandaging it until it heals up.

And don't pick. Anything. Ever. That will give you a scar, and possibly an infection.

the best thing to do is to clean the wound, cover it with Neosporin or an antibacterial ointment that contains a pain reliever and then cover with non stick gauze and paper tape. Change the dressing daily or if it becomes soaked with drainage. After three or four days, you should be able to see improvement in the site. If the area becomes reddened, tender to the touch or the skin becomes warm, go to the doctor immediately.

Get your hands on some fermented paw paw. Its a soothing and healing gel that will help with the pain and prevent your burn from scarring.

you did not mention painful. A burn that bad would be very painful so it sounds to me like it isn't a burn at all.
