I think Lynne Cheney will say whatever the polestar of human evil, her husband, tells her to say, and I don't think she's very amazing. Any parents who will not stand publicly for the rights of their own child are not parents. They are simply political opportunists with kids. I sincerely hope that when Dick Cheney faces his final judgement, he is forced to confront the pain, anguish and grieving that he has inflicted on the American people in the interest of corporate greed. What a horrible excuse for a human being.

Sisters is a 1981 novel by Lynne Cheney published only in a Signet Canadian paperback edition as part of the New American Library (ISBN 0-451-11204-0). Sisters is a historical novel set in Wyoming in 1886. Sophie Dymond, a magazine editor, comes home to Cheyenne after the death of her sister, Helen. It is a historical and literary portrayal of the status of women in the Old West.
The book is now out of print. Existing copies have been put up for sale on various Internet sites for prices ranging into the hundreds of dollars. There are also numerous copies available on-line.
In the February 9, 2005 interview on NPR with Terry Gross, Cheney denied that Sisters contained a lesbian relationship. Cheney suggested that the relationship between the two characters was in question and a historical mystery. She also suggested that Sisters was her one bad book, written in an "attempt to take the novel Rebecca (by Daphne du Maurier) and put it in a Western setting."
In an interview that took place on October 27, 2006 with Wolf Blitzer on CNN's The Situation Room, Cheney denied that Sisters contained graphic depictions of lesbian sex.
Reportedly the full text of Sisters is available on-line from Whitehouse.org. and from TheSmokingNug website.

Only twenty years late!
Would you have ever even heard of Lynn Cheney, had she not married that pontificating, blow-hard husband of hers? You know, the guy who was cool about his wife writing a book about lesbian love, and the guy who was cool about raising a lesbian daughter?
Your characterization of Vice President Cheney just doesn't seem correct. He seems to be a man of dedication and tolerance.

If Lynne wants to write more lebian romance novels, then that's just great! She's free to do whatever she wants. I hope she has a great time doing it and doesn't have to put up with crap like this.

I agree with you about Dick Cheney, but I did a search on Amazon and found a book called "Sisters"...It didn't appeal, in fact, looked rather boring. And it didn't look lesbian, sorry.
