I admire the writer Steven King quite a bit. He came from a very humble background and wrote a lot of essays and short stories when he was a teenager. I saw him on an interview and he said that he threw the manuscript for "Carrie," into the wastebasket because he was so discouraged that no one was buying his pieces. His wife noticed the manuscript in the trash and took it out, read it, and encouraged him to finish it. Carrie was his first big break. This man, imo, is a genious. He wrote the Shawshank Redemption and I believe, The Green Mile,in addition to all of his other novels. He is very down to earth and humble, despite fame and fortune. He is a very interesting man and one hell of a writer.

The President! Yes, I just love George W. Bush!

XD

Did I have you going there for a second? Anyway, in truth, I would have to say I admire my grandmother the most. She never gives up, and she makes the best out of any situation. And she cooks great food, too!

The Dalai Lama...hey I'm a Buddhist..../shrugs shoulders/...plus funny smile...

He is the only person I know of trying to free his country..Tibet ..from Chinese occupation. He meets with the Chinese with no rancour and is tireless in this pursuit..

I'm inspired by this wonderful man because even though he is country less, probably the lonliest man alive and not a young person by any means, still finds time to guide his devotees if they make the effort to go to see him.

A very impressive and unselfish, tirelessly generous and yet unpretentious human being.

Peace.....

I admire my husband because no matter what is going on in our life, he always makes sure I am happy and the kids are good. He never asks for anything in return, and although I know there are things that bother him, he never wants to burden me with them. I wish he would open up to me more, but he feels he has to protect me from things. I love him beyond words and admire him for his strength and love of his family.

My grandmother - lived through Hitler's occupation of Czechoslovakia, then the Communist rule there, escaped the country with the penalty of life in prison if she was caught... more and more and more. She's been through so much and seen the worst in the world and is still completely full of love.
