It has been a big disappointment, but hey look at it this way..... with the huge road Superbowl run going into the month of February, all of the injuries on and off the field to Roethlisberger, the loss of Randel El, the loss of Bettis, Ward being injured, rumors swirling about Cowhers future in Pittsburgh, this team has managed to finish this season very strong, in fact possibly ending with a nine win season. Trust me with teams like Houston, Oakland, and the Browns blowing up this season as they always do we look pretty good and are far from the worst. As a Steelers fan I am proud that the team saved themselves and are going to finish up strong and will look to be even better next year.

But that is because of all the things with Ben Roethesberger because with the motorcycle accident, then the appindectamy, and he just hasn't rebounded and just had a bad season and when Big Ben plays bad Steelers play bad because Ben is their leader and he is the main player in Pitt

i am getting so sick of this question but I'll have a go at it one more time FIRST and foremost Ben's brain scramble than his surgery than came some coaching mistakes for example not putting batch un in the first couple several games Heinz and Palamalu injuries, and lets not forget Santanio's butter fingers in several of these games also with all that said were doing pretty good right now every team in their division except a few have pretty similar record with the right wins and losses we still have a shot at the wild card so don't shut us out just yet, and let me finish with "HERE WE GO STEELERS"

This year has been a big letdown year after their Super Bowl win. I think the whole team, including Bill Cowher lost some focus this year.

wow, can't believe anyone is still asking that question. it's obvious that the steelers were dealing with injuries, roethlisberger, ward, polamalu, porter............almost everyones been out at some point, and they've still managed to do ok for the year, and still aren't eliminated from the possibility of a wild card spot......all in all things are ok, they had a bad start, but a promising finish that still gives us true steeler fans hope for next year.

they are still in the race for the playoffs. they have been a big disappointment but they are bouncing back fairly well in the last few weeks. i dont know what happened to them. i think if they dont make the playoffs this year they;ll be back tough next year. they had an off year. which cannot be good

Well, Rothelisberger, and Pamalu with injuries. Not to mention that Ben has just now seemed to recover. Hopefully, it is not too little, too late.

You can't win them all every year. They had a stellar run last season.

they proved that they were given the super bowl last year. they didn't win that game last year and can't beat a good team this year.
