When I place a disk in my playstation2 it reads no disk do this mean i need to buy a new one?

The lasers are notorious for dying in the PS2. Before you use it as a doorstop, get a cd or dvd lens cleaner and follow the directions on the package. Also make sure your disks are clean. If after doing this you still get a "disk read error" then you're probably better off getting a used one until you can afford a PS3.

well maybe not, you need to clean the disk or clean the PlayStation out you can clean the disk with some c.d. cleaned and the station you may have to take it some where to get it clean like a repair shop. that fix t.v ,s ask them. then may clean PlayStation also or they can tell you where to go or take it to a place that repair computers or electronics. good luck

yeah me too i just make sure the disk is real clean ...or it could be time to pick up another one

um i don't no it probably means it can't read ur disk! DUH!!
