making up your own holiday?

I fiqure i am not religious and all holidays were made up including christmas why not just make up your own holidays like festivus but for real

Lots of families, whether they celebrate holidays or not, have their own traditions they keep every year at holiday times. Family traditions are great because they help families feel closer to each other and give them something extra to look forward to. As an example, every year on Christmas Eve our family makes a special appetizer that's been passed down for longer than I can remember, and I'm 40. Another family spends Christmas Day at the homeless shelter nearby feeding dinner to the homeless. My husband and I have our own tradition in that he likes to have a Christmas tree (I don't care either way), so every year he puts it up and we decorate it with baseball themed ornaments because we love baseball. I think you should make up your own traditions, and even your own holidays. It will become part of what makes you unique.
