Strong feelings are at the core of love, and I don't think it's possible to have strong feelings for someone and always have those feelings based on happiness or admiration or sex. Frustrations will happen and expectations will be crushed at times, and these things hurt. So I say, yes love will hurt if it's real. But if the love is truly shared, then the hurt won't last for long, because your significant other will always find a way to ease your pain.

Actually . . . at first I thought that it was just simple. But now . . . it's too hard. I think that I always get hurt for something. I always tried to empress him . . . to be with him . . . but the only result is nothing. He's always with another girl, he's always linked with her. I don't know if I would still have the chance to be close to him.
But the only thing we've got is th Hope that we will never give up.
To love is not just giving up all. And giving up to someone if you think that you are already out of place. It's about fighting for your love to someone!

If you love someone long enough there's bound to be some hurt that happens sometime. I guess love means lowering boundaries and that makes people more vulnerable to being hurt.

On my fave cd, the Road Home by Heart- Ann Wilson's voice moves me to tears when she sings Love Hurts, it's the most emotional experience that I believe everyone should at least listen to and when they do, close your eyes and listen to it again.

Sometimes I think it depends if u really like the guy and for some reason you break up then it may hurt because you really like the guy.

nope.thats not so much impotant that true love have to hurt.but true love always hurts you atleast a bit.if you don't love anyone truely,they can't hurt you because you'll not be hurted.but if you love someone truely,you'll get hurt just anyhow.

No. On the contrary. If it hurts it's bad lovin'. If someone really cares for you, he will be protective of your heart. He wouldn't want to hurt you.

I think so....but hopefully that means in a GOOD way for people. Love feels just like pain. It just does, or at least in my experience.....
