can i install the siemens speedstream 4200 onto a computer without using a bigpond self install disc?

i would like to know if you need to use the dis to install the modem onto your computer and if you do, can i obtain the disc through a bigpond store at the supermarkets or do you need to contact them through technical support (which i dont like since i dont like calling bigpond) to obtain one?

EDIT: if you know how, please provide as much information as you can.
oh... and how much would it approximately cost to obtain the disc. thanx in advance

Yes you just need the drivers. Download it from Simens.

You may even be able to find it on Bittorrent.
