What is the point of living any more?
No matter what you do you continue to fall back down.
You go back to the same spot you were at.
If you believe you are going to heaven when you die, then why not just die now?
If you believe in reincarnation then what is the point of living in the physical world and comming back?
If you belive that you will just banish when you die, then whats the point of living if you aren't going to have any memories, might as well get over with it.
Is there even a point in living?

What is the point of experiencing those journeys if in the end they will have already happened?
There would be no point if they can't help you out. It would be like temporarly having fun and then it all goes away.

Are we really just here randomly, should there even be life, and if there is no point, then what should we do, what is the point of experiencing joy if it will eventually be gone for ever. Whats the point of going to heaven if all that is going to happen is just happiness no challenges or anything.

There is no self benefeit in helping others when in the end all that will have passed. The only self benefeit would be for the ego, but that too would be temporary and would eventually pass. It seems that no matter what we do, we get back to the same place, with out a reason to live. Isn't the answer obvious? there is no point, what should we do? nothing live or die it is all the same, no matter what we will lead back to the same point. Do you agree or disagree?

"If there were no point in life, would it ever have even started at all? "
According to some scientist that believe in the uncertanty theory, then yes. It would still exist even if there is no point, because according to that theory it would have been random, therefore pointless.

I guess the point of life is the journey, and what you accumulate during it. Knowledge, experience, all that. The bad and the good. So that would mean the point of life is living.

There is no point. Why does there have to be a point? We are an instance of a mindless process called the continuation of the species. We are here to eat, breed, defacate and die. Or progeny continues the cycle.
The rest is about the journey, a brief period of happiness, struggle, strife, pain, joy, etc. Once the lights are out, sensation stops and game is over. Really doesn't matter, either continue and experience whatever comes next or check out and enter black, sensationless oblivion.

I beleive there is no point. I believe that we are the ultimate Observers of the Universe. That which ever our spirit decides to focus its attention on, it will experience, thus see. , and Feel.
There are no judgements from the universe.
we are here to just exist , to just be.
As in the word "human being"
what others get wrong is that it does not say "human working" "human flying" "human physically living".
There is no pressure, we just be. Be what? , Just Be.
What ever we choose to be.
Here or Not here.
Universe does not judge.
And accepts us where ever we travel or decide.
This much is true, we exist within the moment of now.
Wether its in this physical life, or out of it.
Emotion = Energy in motion.
I completely understand what you are saying.
What we focus on is our experience.
Thus, no matter what we believe is true, it IS true, because we make it so.

There is definitely a purpose for all of us. Carl Jung talks about us being the director in our own production while we are spear-carriers (or grunts) in the lives of those around us, that we are doomed to make choices.
There is no point in thinking that all this is pointless, and it makes no sense to think that all of creation, all the lessons that we learn in life just gets junked at the end of our physical existence. We are here on earth to be taught by all those around us how to become in better connection with peace and harmony, and thus, be in better connection with that peace and harmony with others.

I believe everyone is here on this earth for a purpose. We have to find our purpose that has been assigned to us. Everything we do be it small or big thing has a repercussion on others.
At times we find that we are on the same spot ie. not moving on. Perhaps there are something in our life we have yet to learn or changed or done before we can move on to another level of our life.
If we die now, then the purpose assigned to us might not be fulfilled and hence repercussion on the others.
Life given to us is to serve one another.

there is a point, but i cant explain it. somewhere in the bible, it talks about why, and we cant comprehend, so why try to explain? im not a bible thumper and not a member of any religion, but i know there is a reason for all this. something that happened about 4 years ago left me with no doubt at all. the problem is everyone has become so materialistic that they cant see life for what it is. everything has become so complex that the simplicity of life is ignored. theres no excuse for poverty except selfishness. the bible thumpers are probably the worst in that category. organized religion is ruining the world. there is a point tho, i just dont know how to explain it. hang in there.

noone is assured of anything. even if you're immaculately clean or very unclean. and man, if you kill yourself since your "clean" did'nt you just commit the sin of suicide?
reincarnation is there to prove yourself worthy of entering nirvana and attain happiness. what is there to do if you are always sad? and by the way, if your a sinful person you would be reincarnated as low as an insect. now, we dont want that dont we?
when we are alive, we touch someones soul and create a connection with them, thus making them part of our memories so is us to them. when we die they mourn for us since they loved us and we touched their lives.
finding the point of life is the reason why we are all alive. you can't ask someone what yours is since everyone has different gratifications and dreams. each one of us has a reason to live for, like a loved one or a long-term goal. achieving whatever it is that you long for and finding more to do in your life could be a the point of one's life..

Maybe higher minds have already figured that out. Their way of thinking is that death is death, and there is no further living. They may go about things a little more scientifically than most people on earth. It pays to know.

Life is what you make it, plain and simple. The point to it, I believe, is to simply live, to exist. And if there were no point in life, would it ever have even started at all?

Of course, even with the miserable conditions that many people have to suffer today, life is still a wonderful gift. And we do all we can to preserve it. The future life that God promises is much more than a struggle simply to survive in harsh and painful conditions-like Shackleton's men on Elephant Island. God's purpose is to rescue us from our current existence of pain and futility so that we can "get a firm hold on the real life" that God originally purposed for his human creation. (1 Timothy 6:19) . . .safely treasuring up for themselves a fine foundation for the future, in order that they may get a firm hold on the real life.
What will God do for those whose life is now blighted by pain and oppression? Regarding his Son, God's inspired Word tells us: "He will deliver the poor one crying for help, also the afflicted one and whoever has no helper. He will feel sorry for the lowly one and the poor one, and the souls of the poor ones he will save. From oppression and from violence he will redeem their soul." Why will he do this? Because "their blood [or, their life] will be precious in his eyes." (Psalm 72:12-14) 12 For he will deliver the poor one crying for help, Also the afflicted one and whoever has no helper. 13 He will feel sorry for the lowly one and the poor one, And the souls of the poor ones he will save. 14 From oppression and from violence he will redeem their soul, And their blood will be precious in his eyes.
The teaching of reincarnation did not make sense to me. Animals do not worship, so if for some reason you are reincarnated into an animal to pay for your sins, how do you rectify matters and progress from that state?
As is the nature of life, the nature of death is outside the realm of man's ability to explain and comprehend. The only one who can speak on the matter with reliable authority is our Creator. With him is "the source of life," and to him "belong the ways out from death." (Psalm 36:9) 9 For with you is the source of life; By light from you we can see light. (Psalm 68:20) 20 The [true] God is for us a God of saving acts; And to the Sovereign Lord belong the ways out from death.
Solomon says in (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14) 13 The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the [true] God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole [obligation] of man. 14 For the [true] God himself will bring every sort of work into the judgment in relation to every hidden thing, as to whether it is good or bad. Perhaps more attention to spiritual matters will bring you increased satisfaction and meaning in your life. Study the bible and get accurate knowledge about everlasting life, so read John 17:3, and John 3:16.
