I guess this is a ultimate question since it should yield the ultimate gift. I would approach it logically. If someone has everything, then nothing you give him will be something they don't already have. So, you have to think of something that someone with everything can't possibly possess. Something intangible, non-materialistic, something of value, something of need, something they can only possess through you! Hmmm...I guess the only thing would be..your Friendship and presence on Christmas? So many people would give everything away just to be home with the ones they love on such a Special day. Unfortunately, they will not be home...so everything else is just a distant second. Have a Merry Christmas!!

How about a donation to charity in honor of the person. There are many organizations that will send a person a greeting card telling them that a donation has been made in their name and thanking them. Think about what the person is into like the environment, world hunger, animal rights etc.
Sometimes the best thing you can give someone who has everything is the gift of giving.
Merry Christmas!

Usually organizers for the stuff they've already got.

But seriously, folks...

Consider making a charitable donation in their name.

Magazine subscriptions are one of my favourite gifts to receive, because I get to enjoy it all year, especially if it's a magazine specifically related to my interests like say, Woodworker's Monthly or Renaissance Magazine, Military History, you know, anything that the recipient is interested in.

Gift of time - a certificate for an outing with you, if it's someone you'd do that with, or an offer of babysitting so they can go out with their spouse, something like that.

Anyway, happy holidays to you!

Gift Card! Your local mall may have a gift card you can buy that they can use at any store they choose in the mall (at least the one here does). Or you can give a pre-paid credit card (which is just like a gift card, they can just use those anywhere).

Gift certificates to restaurants are nice, especially if they have a significant other. It's like sponsoring a date =)

Something unique that you make for them, really make it personal.
For instance if that person is a golfer, make a drawstring bag with golfing inspired fabric to attach to their golf bag to store their "tees"... if they have just had children make a special little box to hold their childrens "treasures" the first lock of hair, first tooth etc...

Something small, thoughtful and personal is always remembered. Even if they never use it, they will always remember that you spent time considering them.
