When is it that they don't believe in the magic of Santa....
When do they begin to 'demand' a certain quality whether you can afford it or not...
When do they become too 'spoiled' and get rude to Aunt Maudie for the trinkets?

What age do you believe is time to call it quits???

I've got a big family. My brothers [3] and sister have big families.

I've got 8 kids. My brother Alvin has 4. My brother Tyran has 3. My brother Shawndell has 9. My sister La'Te has 6. That's 30 cousins to buy for!

We do a secret Santa with the kids every year. They all draw names [in their age group] and buy a present $35 or less. This way we don't all go broke. I think that's your best bet. Merry Christmas!

Then at the same time as the kin come over, the youngsters can thank them and allow them understand how satisfied the youngsters on the medical institution will be.

I think it depends on the relationship with the family. My dad's side is rather large, so we stopped somewhere in the teen years, but my mom's side is small and my cousin is mentally retarded, so we all still buy him special gifts even at the age of 24.

so long as u do not spend the christmas with them, its perfectly alright to stop buying anything for them. only your immediate family whom u spend christmas with, then u should get them something. even so, its not necessary for u to get expensive stuffs, you're not santa, anyway. i still buy gifts for my sister's sons, though they're already 12 & 11. guess i'll stop once they're 13...
