is ati x1600 with 512mb better than x1900 with 256??

Look at this site, it benchmarks both cards.

It shows that the X1900 is 2.5 times better than the x1600, even with less memory. It's the higher clock speed.

Yes all you have to do is get 512 mb for the x1900
