I have found that my existing water line does is not compatible with my new dishwasher. Can I just replace the line to the proper size from the valve under the sink or is their more I need to do?

Sure, just get the right size adapter and pipe it right over. Make sure your connections are good and tight! Use teflon tape on the joints to help seal 'em up.

You will need to have a 3/8'' line to the dishwasher... You can use 3/8'' soft copper or even 3/8'' steel braided line... Either one should work just fine...

whatever you do, make sure you have the proper hose, etc.

we didn't.

went to an amusement park for a couple of days.

came home...house flooded.

all you need to do is go to a hardware store and buy the proper adapter.
