I need help on explaining what value conflict in the workplace means.

There is three levels of conflict they are need conflict, emotional conflict and value conflict, i have explained the meaning of need and emotional conflict but i am stuck on the value conflict.

first, you need to really know what the conflict theory is in order to actually do this homework. conflict theory (as opposed to the other sociological theories) says that there is conflict in society, which means that one group always has more power than another group. this means that there is always conflict because there are groups in societies always fighting for what they want. thus, the question is (for your homework) what are the groups in the workplace that are always in conflict? this can be gender, race, age, class, etc. then you need to show what the two groups want. why are they in conflict? who are the two groups? why is this conflict important for society? .....

it takes conflict for resolution. maybe something not going right at work leads to a discussion where everyone gives their 2 cents worth and find out what is the best solution.
