nope, Central Europen. Southern Euope is Spoin, Italy, Kroatia, Bosnia, Albania, Greece. Any mountain ranges in those countries would be a southern European.
Italy has part of the Alps but it is realy South Tyrol.

The Alps, The Pyrenees, and The Carpathians traditionally divide Northern and Southern (Non-Russian) Europe.
So I quest I'd call them a central range.

On the other hand the Southern Alps are in New Zealand, and I would say that is considered a southern range.-LOL
