Another way to get out sweat stains and the resulting odor is to soak the garment in white vinegar over night. Then just wash as you normally do. All trace of the vinegar smell will go away as the garment is washed and dried.

hi! The stain remover called Shout works like a charm for almost any stain! Spray the Shout onto the stained areas, for sweat stain, you need to soak the area with the Shout. Let it sit for about ten minutes, then wash in hot water with laundry detergent and bleach. Do not dry the shirt in the drier until you inspect the areas you treated with Shout.
If the stains remain, then repeat the process, this time letting the shirt soak as follows:
1) Set the washing machine to small load.
2) Spray the stained areas on the clothing, until soaked
3) Put only the stained clothing in the washing machine
4) Let it soak for a couple of hours, then add laundry soap and a bit of bleach
I hope this works for you.

I think it's the combination of sweat and the type of deodorant used. Try using another type of deodorant ,that may prolong the time it takes to stain a shirt.
I myself have never found a solution for this which is why I replace white tank tops very often. When you do perspire a lot, try pretreating the under arms part of the shirt as soon as you take it off. That will also prevent your shirts from ruining/staining as fast.

I don't know if you have this product in the area you live, but we recently got in a product called "Yellow-Out". It's in a small white, flat bottle. The shape of the botle will remind you of the flat-type liquid plumbing type bottles, yet smaller and instead of gray it would be white. It is a powder, not chlorine. I can't remember the ingredients but do know that you should not get close to or over it when putting it in the washer for the sake of your lungs. I used it once on a load and YES, It all came out!!!

Wash it on hot and use bleach if the fabric can handle it (check the tag). If it is a delicate item, soak it over night in the sink with Woolite.
I use an antiperspirant called "Certain Dri" a couple of times a week in addition to my daily deodorant. It helps a lot.
