I would go back to the 1980's. That way I could spend more time with my mother. She died in 1989 when I was only 16.

Most any "time" further back than 1900 would be a horrible place for a 21st century human to live.
Throughout history life has been nasty, brutish, and short. Pick any time and you'll experience--
horrible plagues killing thousands--so many dead that they are simply piled up in the streets to rot and spread still more disease.
education, meaning the ability to read, limited to 10% or less of the population, mainly centered in monasteries.
starvation rampant, with most people surviving on rice or thin gruel.
horrific wars where soldiers don't just fight each other, but burn villages, kill the elderly and children and rape any and all available women
I think I'd just stick around the recent past, where I can have air conditioning, a car to drive, and an indoor toilet.

I have 2 time periods. I would go back to the 1800's so I could know my Greaat Great Grandmother. she was a formidable person by all accounts and was a heroine and saved all the people in her hotel as it burned to the ground with her almost in it. She died of injuries later that week.
I would also like to go back to when my 2 great grandmothers were still alive. They were my source of inspiration and where I feel I learned the most of life's lessons.

If I could go back in time I would go back to the 1800's. People showed more respect for others and marriages lasted a whole lot longer. I mean think about it now and days people only care about what they look like or how popular they are. People talked with knowledge now people use slang that sounds terrible. People were also way more mature.

I would like to go back to the place time (just long enough and then bounce back here) that would reveal how this whole thing got started (the universe). I guess more specifically, the place in time that would tell me if there is a God.

If I could go back in time, it would be when my daughter was first born. She is now 3 1/2 years old. I am with a guy who is fixed. So I know its my last kid. I would love to remake those precious memories!!

If I could go back, I would want to have lived when Jesus was in the flesh. It was much more easier in those days from what I gather. I mean, just being able to walk, and hear, His words in person. I could only imagine.

If I could go back in time I would go back to anywhere in Prehistory. I'd want to see how everything evolved and where things came from and watch it all grow to become this world we all share and love so much.

1200 A.D., northern central Europe. To see what it was like, almost on the edge of recovering from the collapse of the Roman Empire, but not organized into strong nation states yet.

Greek/Roman eras. As cruel-hearted as they are believed to be, it'd be so interesting to see the place where such amazing myths were created. And for some reason I'm also bery interested in the 1920's.
