Corner Gas, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, North of 60, Moccasin Flats, the Red Green Show, Degrassi: The Next Generation, Alice, I Think, Canadian Idol, Whistler?

I've noticed that about 70% of what a Canadian watches are American shows and I was wondering if Americans watch Canadian shows or even heard about a Canadian show.

Thanks!

The Networks are: YTV, Muchmusic (CHUM), CityTV, A Channel, CTV, CBC, APTN, Comedy Network, Treehouse TV, Family Channel, Teletoons. Almost most shows on these networks are Canadian.

I'm missing some shows. Hockey Night in Canada is pretty obvious ^_^, Kenny VS Spenny, too, and I noticed I forgot Royal Canadian Air Farce which is so funny.

Girl from South Carolina here...

I love Corner Gas - very funny!! And, who doesn't find This Hour has 22 Minutes hilarious - especially the segment "Talking to Americans". Those are about the only 2 I have heard of that you list. But I think you are missing the most important Canadian show..... Hockey Night In Canada! Go Oilers Go!!!

I get over 150 Stations and none of them are Canadian, I really have no idea why we don't get the opportunity to view them. I have watched documentaries that were done in Canada. I an not a Canuk Phobic. I am aware of the opinion many of our northern neighbors have of us, but would still watch a Canadian station. Lots of good actors, entertainers and comedians are from the frozen north. I am acutely aware that you folks are envious of our weather, wait a while, we are screwing up the weather so bad, soon you will have our weather, eh.

the U. S. networks will be extremely completely satisfied to promote extra of their stuff to Canada. that's the Canadian stations who make certain what they purchase. also the Canadian authorities has regulations on how a lot Canadian content cloth there should be on television. in case you want all the U. S. channels get cable or satellite tv for pc.

Degrassi is alright -- but Canadian kids have nothing on American kids when it comes to problems. Doesn't mean it's not a good show.

Only Degrassi: The Next Generation. It has pretty crappy writing and claims to go there. Go where? It goes nowhere for me.

I've only heard of Red Green. That's the only one they play around where I live that I know of. Funny stuff though.
