My future boss showed my resume to my future subordinates. Is this reason enough to turn down the job?

If you feel for future boss did this with bad intentions, then yes, I would question accepting the job, but otherwise don't sweat it.

I'm in HR, and it's standard practice for subordinates to interview their potential boss, thus they would have seen your resume regardless. It's appropriate for them to see your experience and background to help them get accustomed to the idea of having a new boss. Your future boss probably felt your background was so strong, that he wanted to show them what a talent you are.

Now you'll go into your job knowing that your new team is confident in your background and experience and start it from there. I'd hate for you to turn down a great opportunity over something like this.

Good luck in whatever you decide!

I see nothing wrong with it. I would have expected them to interview you. If everything on the resume we truthful, then what is the issue?

I would go for the opportunity to take the job. Who knows, you might really enjoy it. You'll never know unless you see what the job is like for yourself.

Maybe he showed it because he already wants them to know you will be in charge. Go for it.

I can't see anything wrong with them knowing your background and experience, can you?
