I started off hating his guts. But you know, slowly, I started to kinda like him...now, I never miss a show! Agree or disagree, he gets one thinking, and that's a good thing.

Like a lot of his listeners, I found that he was an "acquired taste".
I went through a stage of not really liking him at first when
he had a local show on Philadelphia radio for a while and before he went nationwide.

I now listen to him as much as possible and I was "freakin'"
overjoyed to discover that when we are on vacation up in Canada, we can still pick up his show on our truck radio drifting across the border from a Watertown, NY radio station!
W O N D E R F U L !!!

I haven't watched his TV show more than a few times but I did tune in to the show about terrorism in the US.

I honestly think there are times when he can be a little TOO overwrought and shrill.

His coverage of the Presidential campaign in 2004 was fantastic radio in my opinion. Who will ever forget the ongoing progress report of the Kerry "Waffle-mobile". I had to pull over to the side of the road, I was laughing so hard. My eyes ALMOST started to bleed!

He was a guest speaker at a Freedom Rally, put on by a local talk station here at the Valley Forge Freedom's Foundation a few years ago, and he was a real crowd pleaser. He seems to be at his best in front of a live audience and when he takes calls from his listeners; maybe that's what I find missing in his TV show.

Bottom line: on a scale from 1-10 (1 being not good and 10 being REALLY great) I'd give Glenn Beck's radio show a 9 1/2.

Sorry for being long-winded!!

Great question, by the way.

Merry Christmas.

I just "discovered" Glenn Beck this year on CNN's Headline News channel. I have mixed feelings about him. I appreciate his coverage on radical Islam because so few people in the media are willing to criticize it and expose it as openly as Glenn has.

I don't find him particularly funny, and I find it odd that he has made a living being a comedian. I also think he uses the word "freaking" way, way too much.

I admire him for stating time and again on his show that he is a Christian and that all of his views come from that frame of reference. You don't see that kind of honesty very often.

He is a Mormon, which is interesting. I have gained respect for the Mormon Church over the years because they have worked hard to change their image, and their sincerity is obvious.

He is also honest about being a Christian, a Mormon, and a divorced man who is married to his second wife. A lot of "religious" people would sweep something like that under rug in order to appear more credible and more righteous, but he does not.

So, bottom line, agree with him or not, he appears to be honest about who he is and where he stands on issues, and he certainly doesn't care what anyone else thinks of him. On that basis, I'll have to give him an A plus.

I listen to nearly all of his show every day. He's no propagandist ... he's a true American trying to wake up everybody who thinks everything in our country is going fine. The guy makes legitimate points all the time. You have to stop listening to main stream TV news, put down the New York Times and get your information from Fox or web sites like the Drudge report, and people like Glenn, Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannitty. This country is in serious peril and he wants people to realize this and take action before we all need to learn to speak and write in Arabic. It's not a question of if, but of when if we don't do something about ourselves immediately! We're loosing our grip and our country!

When you find someone as honest as Glenn Beck, it's like a breath of fresh air! He grew on me until now I think he's one of the best. I agree with him on almost all the major issues.

He is a mild Bill O'Reilly, to me he seems as if he is an alcoholic. Probably drunk with his own opinions and ideas. Not really credible and too agitated.. I am fed up with all those clowns on TV. I prefer Rosie, at least she is funny.

I love him when he is being funny, I can't stand him when he gets all sentimental. Made a decent transition from radio to TV.
