Before You Answer, "THINK". Remember, Your hero's are a lot of the signers of the Humanist Manifestos. Do You know what That Means?? Ask Yourself this, Do You desire that The U.S., survive as a nationalist nation, Or do You prefer Socialism? Which desires a one world government? Before You puke out stupidity here, go look up what I just said. Look up the Humanist manifestos.Tell me how humanism, is the friend of the capitalistic U.S.A.?

I find it interesting that most "Liberals" make every effort to dodge the label "Liberal."
Adhering to a belief that your ashamed to be counted with is very interesting to me.
I believe that deep down they all know this is pure Socialism in America. They cannot be so nieve that they did not know their College Professors were Communists, they unlike mainstream "Liberals" are very proud and vocal of their Communism.
I can only guess that they really believe that some American version of a failed socialist system will somehow succeed here.

If your knowledge wasn't so uninformed and flawed, you would reconsider you're question. Overlook everything you think you have learned in this life, most of what is quite false, then take some time and investigate the real issue, which is money. You will find that way less than one percent of this country owns, and I mean owns, over ninety percent of it. If you include another one percent, the sole ownership jumps to ninety five percent. That's everything pal; the mortgage on your house, the note on your car, the stores you shop at, the things you buy in them, the bank you use, the media you watch and read, the fuel you burn, even the very money you pay for everything with. The Federal Reserve is a private corporation. Now what do you have? I'll tell you what, very, very little. The pie was divided up long ago, then laws and loopholes, and an army of lawyers much smarter than you, put in place to keep it divided. It's simply the nature of power and wealth. That's the real truth. People whose names you have never heard, many of them foreign nationals, sit back and quietly reap the harvest of this nation, while just as quietly shaping your views and thoughts. The fear of course is that programs such as universal medical care would cost too much. Even this wealthy nation would have to make cuts in places like the military. That was beginning to happen, and I believe it made the true power nervous. They need our military. Not only is it profitable, but it protects important assets abroad, and in fact can bring other important assets into the fold if appropriately flag draped. That's why it's so important to have enemies, even manufactured ones, they work as well, although people do seem to be waking up. Further, even the military budget might not be enough, and just possibly, the people might begin wondering about things, looking at things and assessing the inequities. The bottom line is this, Capitalism is neither threatened or in trouble. In fact, it's never been better off, ever. You're what is in trouble. Your mind has been taken, and maybe your soul.

Anthony, far be it from me to educate you on U.S. history, but it looks like I'm going to have to try.
The United States of America has been a capitalistic (sic) nation for only the more recent part of its history. It has been a humanist nation since the time of its inception - the Founding Fathers were all humanists, the Constitution is a fundamentally humanist document. I would recommend you attempt reading it at some point - if you can take time out from criticising everyone else.
PS - just to satisfy your curiosity - no, I'm not a liberal.

Socialism is the backbone of the Democratic party. Plain and simple. The problem with your question is that you ask them to think, something they are no longer able to do.
Steam Monkey - your response is too stupid to even reply to. Anything I said would be lost on you anyway.
Debra H. - "and yours is the party of liars, fornicators and slave owners." What? In case you didn't know, slavery was abolished well over 100 years ago. Maybe next time you should think with your head instead of your liberal biased mainstream media.
Spread the wealth, raise taxes on the rich, and promote a strong secular government. These are the three main prinicples of the Soviet Union! The Bolshevik Revolution was founded on these three ideas!

They must know on some level that the way they want government to work is based on socialism. But socialism is such a "dirty word" that they don't want to admit it. Even though they may believe the ideals that their leaders are spouting, they have not come to terms with the fact that our founding fathers came to this country for freedom and socialism is the antipathy of freedom. The "socialism" that the Democratic party espouses relies on our Federal government to do the taking and the handing out. This concept relies on the brute force of our government, I wish people would realize this. If you won a million dollars tomorrow would you willingly give up 380,000 dollars to our government? (hint: the key word is "willingly") Imagine this: you're walking down the street and you pass a man who is giving a vagrant a dollar. Then the man turns to you and says how much money do you have? You're hesitant, but reply "Ten dollars". Then he says back, "then you should give him two dollars". You turn to walk away and there is a group of police officers with a set of hand cuffs and a warrant. Wow! Government socialism at work.

Your homework for tonight is to read a book written by a group called PNAC (Project for the New American Century) Of about 17 members, over half serve or have served in the Bush Admin. They goal they write about is the creation of a one world government with themselves as that government. For your info, this is an extreme NEOCON group.
Now that you have totally proven how ignorant you are, go ahead & whine about how I'm bullying you. You are pathetic!

.. and yours is the party of liars, fornicators and slave owners. Come on.. there is good and bad in every party. Anyone who adheres strict to what the party states is stupid. Choose one that is possibly thinking along the same lines as you are then hope for the best. Both parties have a lot of socialist in them... but one side calls it religion!
