Some of the questions on the test are:What is the tallest Mountain in the U.S?The tallest mountain in the U.S. is MT.McKinley.What's one thing Ben Franklin was famous for?The catch is they are looking for 3 very specific answers for that question.Such as he was one of the oldest people in the Constitutional Convention.Another question is who is the current Attorney General? The answer to that is Alberto Gonzales.I'm in college and I don't know any of these answers.except I know Ben Franklin is famous for flying a kite and getting electricuted and was a famous politician. These questions are not relevant to becoming U.S. citizens at all.The reporter asked these questions on the street and nobody knew the answers not even the women.

That you don't know the answers to these questions, or the huge majority, only speaks to your ignorance, not your education or your worthiness to be a citizen. I have the entire test and am helping someone to learn the information necessary to pass it. I find it a good background to help someone have a small understanding of how this country came about and why.

Not always the case, a friend of mine just became a citizen, and told me the interviewer was most interested in reading skills. The only questions asked were local, like who is the state Governor?, where do you live?...
