Who makes the better Grinch, Jim Carrey or the original cartoon?
I was a bit insulted when I excitedly put on the cartoon this year only to hear my kids complain that it wasn't the Grinch

Well, I think that the cartoon version is the better of the two. But I do like the version that has Jim Carrey as the Grinch.

The original will always be the cartoon Grinch. However, most kids will probably end up say Jim these days, because of what they've known and seen. My vote is for the cartoon, though.

Who did you see first? If you saw Jim Carrey, he is the best Grinch. If you saw the original cartoon, then that character is the best Grinch.
Works that way for most things. First impressions are lasting impressions.

Jim Carrey is better for the Grinch, why you ask... I say Jim because I love his movies and all the movies he plays in are hillarious and are never stupid. If I watched the cartoon of the grinch I would rather pick my nose than watch it I hate the cartoon one. So my answer is Jim Carrey!! :)

well the original of anything is always better but the jim carrey version is funnier but id be really happy to see the original on cause i havent watched it in forever and a day the original is way better

Jim Carrey is the better Grinch.
This won't be the first time your kids ridicule your quaint old fashioned ways. When they get older though they will cherish your favorites like pieces of you.

The cartoon is really much better.
Jim Carrey hams it up too much, takes away from meaning of story.
