How much does this ACT score helps more than than my SAT score?

which is a higher acceptable score for UCLA? my ACT or SAT score

Average SAT: 1284
Average ACT: 27


mind you, the SAT score is still out of 1600. the old score can be calculated by averaging your critical reading and writing sections, then adding your math section.

i think you'll probably want to submit the ACT, but check to see what your SAT score translates to in the old system.

I know the SAT score is what UCLA would prefer because the school is based in the west

West prefers SAT
East prefers ACT

Ivy league schools prefer both

child you got a 1580 on the NEW sat???

i do not think uc's accept the act
meaning u must take the sat and two sat 2's i think
