I opened up my PC to add a firewire card and when I tried to turn it on again, it wouldn't. Like I said there is a light on the motherboard that is lit, but when I hit the power button nothing happens.

Try removing the firewire card and seeing if it works. If it doesn't your power supply is probably dead and needs to be replaced.

First, I would undo the change. Remove the firewire card and see if it boots. Be SURE to have the power cable unplugged from the back of the computer, as wake-on-LAN will turn the computer on if you insert it while plugged in! If the card removal allows the computer to boot, I would pull out other cards (other than video) and re-insert the firewire card to see if it comes up then. I've found that it's best to have a slot open between cards on the motherboard, otherwise you may have conflicts between the card requests. Let me know what you get and I'll follow up with you. Hope that helps!
