If you mean sexually, then yes. But there should always be limitations that you and your partner both understand and TRUST. If you can't trust who your enjoying the pain with then how is that enjoyable?

Some people get a huge high off of pain in a sexual way. Endorfins are released and it gives you a sense of euphoria. If this is not the pain you are talking about however, then absolutely not is it ok to enjoy pain. If its not sexual, then something is very wrong and you should seek help.

That is called masochism, and can be rather dangerous if it gets out of hand. "take your cigarette out of your holder, burn your initials in my shoulder, let's do the masochism dance".
