NO!!!
It will Not support 1 GB
your max RAM is 512 MB, which means you could only put in another 256 MB RAM chip of PC 100 speed.

Cant stand idiots that dont realize theyre answers are sometimes taken seriously and should this guy buy some RAM online do you know the hassle it is to return stuff and have to pay shipping.

So watch how you answer peoples questions, SHAWN you jerk!

Best buy it at Pricewatch.com
others use Egghead
But defintely get it online as in stores it will be quite pricey

what you can get online for about 15 bucks will cost you close to 50 in stores like Best Buy and Circuit City and Staples.
Unless they have a killer sale.

Shawn, read your extensive wordy posted resume -- you have 14 years of computer experience and are just now enrolled in A+ training? and arent familiar with what type of RAM can go in what computer?

sounds like an older computer.(4yrs old?) Like other people said, probably pc100 ram. You should check the number of slots in your mother board. You should also try to find the manual for your mother board online. I have an old computer and i found mine. This is really the only exact way to find if u can support it. Good luck!!

Yes it will support 1GB of RAM. It probably uses PC100 or PC133.
