I know exactly how you feel! I live in Michigan and it's been in the 50's and 60's and snow is not in the forecast. I dont think that you can say that Christmas is going to be ruined just because of the weather, but i do think that the "something missing" that you are feeling is the lack of your traditions, in which weather plays a big part, expecially during the holidays. I dont think that this Christmas will feel exactly right at all to you or me this year, but hopefully we can both make new memories that will give us a new familiar in the years ahead.

Even though it's been in the 80s her and humid, I still find that the Christmas spirit lives on. I moved off the mainland US to HI so I'm not use to wearing shorts during the holidays, but think of what you CAN do and what Christmas REALLY means! Family, giving, friends, etc... Not about the weather.

Christmas is not really about the weather. I used to live in Florida and every Christmas was blazing. I did not really care because it was a short drive to my family (and to more presents) the weather really never occurred to me as long as your are with caring others then it could be 200 above and still be Christmas

Nah, the true meaning of Christmas never changes...
well im not sure what you believe, but it is the day that Jesus was born... that is why it is celebrated
that is overlooked way too often...
but the low for Christmas here is like 21ºF
a few days ago it was WAY above average when we were close to 70º

Christmas can be fun even if its 90 degrees out. You dont like it because you probaly grew up somewhere that was always cold in Christmas day but if you lived and grew up in a place like Florida, than you definatly wouldnt of mine.

MOS DEF
I wish I was in denver right now
They have a crap load of snow.
I'm in Alberta and it's going to be a brown christmas.
Personally I don't think it's global warming just yet. More just weather patterns.

Christmas can definitely be less festive and cozy without the cold weather! I hate years like that! Paint snowflakes on all the windows!

I agree with you that it is slightly ruined. I have snow (upstate ny) and this year and the past its all been rain. THere is magic in the idea of snow b/c it brings back memories of being young and believing an santa claus.
