My legs are really long, but I perfer my jeans on the long-ish side. Mose of the ones that I buy are fine at first, but after a few washings, it looks like I am waiting for a flood. All of the ones that I have found that are long enough are high-rise and do not fit in the waist. I am a size 5 or 7, and even the long sizes at places like Ambercromie are too short. Any suggestions??

I'm 6' and a size 6. My inseam needs to be at least 36". This is where I shop:

Gap.com - They stock 36" inseams on the website only. Not in stores. (about $50 a pair) You can take returns to their stores.

Alloy.com - 35" and 37" inseams for much of their clothes online and in mail catalogues (about $30 a pair)

JCrew.com - They stock 36" inseams on the website only. Not in stores. (about $60 a pair) You can take returns to their stores.

Zara International - May only be in the NY metro area, but really good finds in inseams up to 37" (depends on the style). They have great business pant suits, too. (anywhere from $20 to $100 a pair)

Mavi - This is a brand of jeans. I've only bought them at department stores (Bloomingdales usually has them in the juniors department), but there is a flagship store in Manhattan. Although most stores don't stock them, almost all of their jeans styles are made in 36" inseam length. My favorite jeans are Mavi. ($80 a pair)

Long Tall Sally - A British online shop. I've ordered from them twice. They are definitely long (up to 40" inseams!), but the cuts can be weird. Since they are shipped to you from Europe, returns are difficult and shipping is expensive. Prices are in euros. (approximately $80)

Depending on how tall you are- I have the same problem im only 5'8 but I hate some high waters.
Ive had to try on lots of jeans i hate NY&CO, GAP has big butts (too loose)
I like aeropostale. I also like JCPENNYS section of jeans - they say TALL or LONG. They are great. I found union bay to be good too. Theya re cheaper but they work. Shope around - its ucks and trying on jeans sucks but you will eventually find something you like.
Look online for a womens or ladies tall shop- and try to find free shipping - and check ebay out and get inseam sizes i have to go with longer thn 32" but once you find a good pair measure the inseam and go from there.

Oh boy I have the same problem!!! I am 5'10" and when I wear heels I am over 6 foot. So, I usually get most of my jeans at Gap.com because you can order Xtra talls! They are great too! I love the Long and Lean collection. I have gotten jeans from American eagle, but they are not tall enough. Try Victorias Secret.com too because they have some tall styles.

I have an electric dryer at my house and it SHRINKS all my jeans!! It's horrible. IF you have shrunken jeans, I would get them tailored at the dry cleaners and make them into capris for the summer or I tuck them into tall leather/suede boots!!

i go to NY and company. they have sizes 0-18 and short, regular and long. i get the long and it is so perfect. i can only go here because other jeans don't look right on my long thick legs.

SWEETYBEAR20, just a suggetion when u wash ur jeans don't put them in the dryer, try letting it air dry overnight. this is what i do to prevent shrinkage.

Banana Republic and Gap.com; NY&Co.; JCPenney; JCrew; Ralph Lauren.

I'm still sewing matching color lace on the bottom of my jeans. Try Walmart. They oftentimes have several nice brands of jeans in extra tall.

When I buy "Long" from Old Navy I have to roll them up like 5 inches.
And I'm very tall myself.
