Although I live in Brazil I was watching television that evening with my grampa. It was (July 20, 1969) about 4 pm in Brazil and they said on TV they would stop the regular programs to show the man from the moon because "he" would have JUST landed there. And it came 5 pm, 6 pm and 7 pm and I kissed my grampa goodnight and came home. My mom and I used to wait till 11 pm and nothing. It was not before midnight in Brazil that they showed "us" something about it. I am sure they were editing to let us see what they wanted us to see. Oh, you mean WHO? Who cares? Any simple camera installed on the module, of course. Or the third astronaut who did not land on the moon and was in orbit, whatever. Until today many people STILL say it did not happen and it was a "movie" made in Nevada and directed by the "entrant" Spielberg... who knows the truth?

It was actually a camera stationed on the leg of the lunar lander.

...or a remotely activated camera.
Compared to flying to the moon, figuring out how to take the picture is a piece of cake. :)
