What if there's nothing after death?, please don't get me wrong i respect my religion, I've just always wondered what if when your gone there's nothing. Just dark infinite space, please read this question carefully im not asking if there's a heaven or hell, or how much i believe in my faith to ask such a question. truth is none of us really know what's next only the dead know that.

Youve opened your mind and thats a great start. Believe me, there are people on earth sent to guide you, some of us DO know and remember.
Remember, that within nothing is everything. As long as you know who you are, what you will stand for and what you wont, you'll be fine in the abyss.

If there is nothing it then doesn't matter.
WE have faith and religion for all the right reasons. The Bible teaches you to be kind to others, it is filled with stories on how to love your fellow man; that is the most important part of life; that you help the human condition, that you contribute in a positive way to the world; as for going to heaven, life after death; Jesus promises that you will recieve eternal life; just believe in him, no if ends or buts. Now; if there isn't a God; doesn't matter, it is better to believe and go to heaven then not believe and find out you are wrong.
As long as you believe in the positive aspects of life, and the positive aspects of death (eternal life) you can't go wrong. :)

well if nothing is there than it's ok u did good in this earth, u live ur lives according to what God wants eg. u give to the poor, ur a good friend, a good father, a good husband, a good kid, etc
ur name will remain as a good person...
but what if there is life after death?? u will still go to heaven rite??
so nothing to lose both ways ^__^
