i was at the doctor's for my migraine earlier .. as a normal procedure i know usually doctors will check the eye with the touch light thingy ..
what was unusual was the doctor look at my eyes and keeps flashing the light to my eyes .. i mean he keeps staring and concentrating on something?? den he asked me am i wearing either contact lenses?
i said no i never wear contacts .. he ask was i serious ... i said yes .. so i asked him what's wrong with my eyes??

he said he just thought i was wearing contact lenses coz of my black ring outside and abit glassy?.. i thought everyone has the black ring around the iris and my eyes are just dark brown nothing special or weird or anything..

now i think the comment was not of medical nature so i really suspect is there going to be something wrong with my eyes or vision

i need some advice... thanks !

it obvious you are not comfortable with the doctors opinion. I agree with you -- sometimes doctors make "off the ring" remarks -- that the patient hardly understands. it is two different worlds. i would strongly suggest -- you go for a second opinion. since eyes are very very important. i had surgery -- and it was a surprise -- I usually visit a specialist once a year -- when I confronted him -- not detecting what was "to come as a surprise" -- he said?? it developed suddenly. baloney and thus i do suggest consult a new doctor. hope it helps.

Eh, I think you'll be fine. Everyone has the black circle, but it being glassy was a Dr.'s response. Your vision is either good or bad. It's probably a fluke, I don't think it's a medical emergency.

I would suggest that you seek a complete eye exam from an ophthalmologist. This way you can eliminate and concerns and have peace of mind. If there happens to be an issue with your eyes, I can assure you that they can be treated...you are not going blind! I work for an ophthalmologist office, and trust me, there are very few eye problems that can not be fixed quite easily with proper treatment.
