Austria is pretty cool. I went when I was 17 and 18 and I really like it. The mountains are beautiful and there is lots to see. Salzburg is really cool. They have all the sound or music stuff, mozart, those cool puppets...Marienettes I think and a big fortress. Vienna is also very cool and there is an amusement park there as well. It is also not a big country so you don't spend all your time traveling. You could also slip over to Prague or Venice.

Actually if you have a couple weeks you could probably get in Prague, Veinna, Salzburg, Venice, and maybe Rome or Florance. Rome is incredible at any age. I am sure you kids would be stunned by the colisuim and the Roman Forum. The Vatican musium is also very cool.

The problem with spring break is that every popular place (Like Paris, Rome, London) will be crowded with other tourists.

If anyone knows a foreign language, try to pick a smaller town where you can enjoy the country, and not other tourists. I spent 2 days at a little place in Chieti, Italy called il Quadrafoliglo (four-leaf clover). It was a small B&B on the top of a little mountain and looked over miles of grape bushes and olive trees.

You don't have to go there, but I recommend any smaller town (in any country) if you want a real experience of that country.

LONDON! i was just there over the summer with my parents and younger sister. We had so much fun. It is a city for everyone to enjoy esp. the shopping, if you do go try Oxford Street, H&M, Selfridges, Marks & Spensers. It is amazing. There is so much to do and see. The museums are free and they have speical activities to do for everyone. Transportation is very easy. i got lost and was able to get home by myself, so much easier than in NY. You can always take a train to the coutnry side or even Wales and Scotland. We went to Bristol and Wales. It truly was the best trip that i had ever been on and we have been almost all over the world. You will def. have such a good time.
