I just started playing Trombone and I really suck at high notes ):

Lots of Breath support- breathe from your diaphragm, not ur chest.

Buzz! buzz on the mouthpiece, and make a sort of smile when u do it. the tighter the buzz, the higher the pitch. use only mouthpiece.

flexibility- play a low b, an f, a high b, and then a d (all in first.) do it slow at first, then faster.

play scales, new music. this will train you when u dont even realize.

start with low tones- a whole note, and then go up...

warm up first!

keep your tongue through ur teeth!!

Put your mouth like you are saying the letter M. I play french horn and mellophone and that's what I do. It really works!
