If thats the case then wrestling is doomed.
I just finished watching TNA again, and im still trying to figure out what all of the Hoopla is about. Ive heard for years now how TNA was so much better than the WWE. Since Spike TV picked it up several months back ive finally gotten a chance to watch it and i must say i am very disapointed. The diehard TNA fans say TNA is all about wrestling, the average show has 3 matches. Tonights show had 3 matches, 2 of which lasted less than 5 minutes and one lasted around 6 minutes. The rest was talking.
Im not gonna say WWE is great, i admit it gets stale at times but TNA has a long way to go before they can expect to challenge WWE.
Im a longtime wrestling fan, of over 25 years. I wish a company would come foward to put a serious challenge against the WWE, i feel that competition only makes you better, thus competition is good for all of Wrestling. My question - where is the competition? If its TNA then the WWE has none.

Both WWE AND TNA's quality has dropped, as far as the wrestling AND the entertainment. WWE has for the last 7 years, and TNA since before Main Event Mafia came in. So no, TNA is NOT the savior of pro wrestlng, technically, that would be ROH. Yes, it should be compared, and always is, especially when certain wrestlers go into legit MMA.

Yes, I would rather watch TNA which they wrestle instead of a soap opera for guys that people call the WWE. I watch Ring Of Honor and I have to say that is better then both WWE and TNA combined. Their is no drama just real wrestling.

TNA has very good talent, but in their one hour format and moronic hiring of Vince Russo don't really allow for much improvement.
Basically, TNA is no better than WWE, it's just a smaller version of it...and a smaller fanbase.
I personally prefer Ring of Honor on the actual wrestling front...
What is the savior of pro wrestling? Who knows...but we need it and soon, otherwise we'll be doomed to more of the same for years to come on a national level. If TNA wants to be that savior, they need to get off their butts and start doing things differently.

WWE's only competitor at the moment is UFC.I'll give TNA some time for it to compete with WWE.To many others, they think that TNA is an independent promotion.I prefer WWE anytime.
To Mike Awesome:Yes,you can see fat men in thongs in TNA.Remember when VKM is doing a parody of DX?They introduced a bunch of male cheerleaders and a fat naked oily guy.

TNA can only put on three matches and do good storylines in one show because it is ONLY ONE HOUR like ECW WHICH PUTS ON THREE MATCHES AND HAS HORRIBLE STORYLINES
