All it is reality shows with spoiled brats that kids look up to. Which is sad becuse they see this garbage and think its ok to act this way. This is the reason why I don't watch it anymore except for Viva La Bam and Wildboyz reruns. And the videos that they do play suck. All the "rock" bands they show are nothing but whining babies who were beat up in school.

I agree completely. Gotta feel sorry for the kids who have to grow up thinking this is what music is supposed to sound like....

MTV is based on materialism (MTV cribs), drama (the real world), and partying (pop club rap). These are just three of the many negative things about this channel however I could name many more. One could easily say that these three things are some of the worst qualities of our society let alone a tv channel. What makes it even worse is that these shows are based towards CHILDREN. Young teens/preteens. This channel teaches people early on in their development that what you need out of life is material things, hating people, and drinking/doing drugs. This channel crates nothing but negativity in the world and I personally believe this channel should be removed entirely.

I know what you mean. MTV2 tried to go music-only but they only came to realize that crappy reality TV sells more than straight up music. It sucks but it all comes down to economics.

I'm 'growing up with MTV'.. I think it's god-awful.. I HATE all of that rap sh*t they send out for our ears.. Fuse is MUCH better... I love Fuse.
