I was suprised to find our small city has one. It is in Springfield MO. and I found it quite by accident. The sign written "Islamic Center of Spring Field MO". Below, it was written in aribic.

I am well aware that colleges have Islamic groups. They have everything that might be seen as radical or socialistic, or liberal, or bazzar in any way.

We have a mosque and a very active Muslim group that's associated with the local university. A lot of people don't realize that either the mosque or the organization are here in this particular area of the Southern U.S.

Yes, even dinky Jamestown, NY has one. I was surprised, only because Jamestown is such a backwater that's generally losing population. Not that I object to Muslims in the community. Not at all.

Yah, we have acouple multimillion dollar ones and many small ones scattered everywhere. I live in Northern VA.

Where I live, there are quite a few. A new lavish mosque was just built down the street! SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
