How do I find parts to make table lamps?

Most places: Menard's - Lowe's - Home Depot - perhaps WalMart, all have the parts necessary.

There are two places(actually more)..

You can find many of the parts at the Home Depot/Lowe's/Ace Hardware.. Actually.. allmost all you need to make a lamp

Also.. In every city, there is a lamp repair place.. In there(as I have seen), they have many parts and enough to make your own table or otherwise floor lamp, etc.

You can easily make your own lamp. Go to Wal-Mart or something and buy a little bulb on a cord. Then be creative, take wood and build something like a light house and put the light under a mason jar at the top or something. If you want you can use natural things you find outside, just because it is a lamp, doesn't mean it needs a shade right? Good luck.
