100+ Pass. Rating Gms. Record Avg.ppg
Rex Grossman: 7 12-2 28.1
Tony Romo: 4 6-2 27.3
Drew Brees: 4 9-5 25.9
Peyton Manning: 5 11-3 26.9
Phillip Rivers: 5 12-2 31.8
Carson Palmer: 4 8-6 31.8
Yeah, I know, Grossman had alot of help from the Defense and Devin Hester, but still. Philip Rivers had alot of help from You All Know Who. So again, what made the players go with Tony Romo for the Pro Bowl again? Also, Im not sure what the amount of Interceptions were, but Grossman would be up there. It seems like when hes bad, boy is he bad, but when hes good, the stats speak for themselves.

Sorry the chart came out bad but the first number is how many 100+ point passer rating games theyve had, the second numbers are thier record, and the last is Average Points Scored by their team

The Bears would not have the record they have had it not been for their big play defense. Rex Grossman is not the best QB in the NFL.

I have been saying since he first joined the Bears that Grossman was a very underrated QB. However, I have to disagree with you completely for even putting Grossman in the upper class of Quarterbacks in the NFL. The only thing Grossman has right now is he is the best QB in the NFC North, which isnt saying much (a washed up Brett Favre, Kitna sucking in Detroit, and Johnson + a rookie splittin time in Minnesota). Other than that, his name should not be mentioned as one of the bests in anything.
I like Rex Grossman, I think he is a good quarterback, however, thats all he is, good, not great. Manning is great, he has no running game this year and still puts up those stats. McNabb (pre injury) was great. Brees is great. Romo is...a little above good but not yet great...Palmer is having an off year but is still better than Grossman...Rivers is in the same class as Romo. Grossman still has a lot of work to do.

Are you really trying to tell me that grossman is the best qb, he has a high rating because he doesn't have to throw the ball. You are trying to say that Grossman is a better qb than peyton manning. Just ask yourself this question when you are playing football in the backyard would you rather have manning or grossman. If you chose grossman over manning, brees, palmer, or brady than you are smoking something very very strong

Let Brees, Manning, Rivers and Palmer play the Bears schedule and see what kind of numbers they'd put up.
Rex vs the AFC
Buf 182yds 2 TD's
Mia 210yds TD, 3 INT's
NYJ 119yds TD
NE 176yds 3 INT's
-----------------
4 games, 687yds, 4TD's, 6INT's
Best in the NFL? He might not be the best QB on the Bears.

Yea he has the most 100+ pass rating games yet he only has a 77.5 rating in contrast to Romo's 98.4. That says alot of how bad he played in the other 7 games of the season. Dude u said it urself just look at the stats lol.

omg, 2 weeks ago everyone wanted grossman to be benched, then he plays ok and he's a hero again.............let me set this straight for everyone, grossman is not the best qb in the world, he's ok, he makes bad decisions, but that doesn't mean he should be benched, and he has some games that go ok, doesn't mean he's the best, grossman needs work he'll be mediocre in the future but that's it..........mediocre, so everyone can stop debating whether he's the best or worst, he's neither, just somewhere in between

You gotta love die hard fans!! Any time a fan tries to boost a QB who had a 10.2 QB rating against the Cardinals and a 1.3 rating against the Vikings. These are drunk Ryan Leaf numbers.
Yet, Rex won both games.
Talk about Urlacher, Hester, and the defense in general.

all that matters when you compare qb's are the ratings, touchdowns and interceptions. you can't compare grossman with names like brady, manning or even romo. he isn't a rookie but still makes the rookie mistakes. oh, and to the guy who said that manning has already broken marino's completion and td records, he isn't even close to marino. favre just broke the completions record last week and he is still 7 behind him for the td record
