Our children all come home. We start usually in the afternoon enjoying each others company. We have supper, play games and watch movies on TV. The grandkids really enjoy it because they get to stay up!! We are so thankful our family truly enjoys spending time together. If anyone thinks they have to drink they come knowing they will be spending the night.

Actually, I couldn't wait till they left town and quiet settled in. I enjoy quietness and the new year no longer interests me. I'm on a different calandar. I want to celebrate 02-02-02 and on to 07-07-07. It's too cute for me. No one has to have a party but I like that the numbers line up like that. I look for people with those birthdays. It's been quite fun. Long ago we took the boys bowling. but I truely like to reflect alone and quietness.

I'll be spending my New Years Day working with the same people i spent Christmas with. there are no holidays when you work in a nursing home.
