I have a best friend who is quite quiet. She hates it when I drag her over to another group of my friends (which is very large, mind you). However, it's not like I can just ditch her to be with my other friends. Sure, I love her and all, but it's just so hard to shun my other "peeps" (haha I said peeps!) just because my best friend wants to be more isolated. How should I deal?

Alright, all idiots aside... I think maybe you should try to interchange the days that you spend with each group... I mean like one Saturday go see a movie with your shy friend, and then Friday or whatever go out with your big group of friends... or try slowly getting your shy friend involved in the activities and becoming less shy... she'll come outta her shell sooner or later, but DON'T PUSH HER!! alright, hope you have success and hope you can resolve this problem... ~arg_xo5

I'd find someone out of the larger group that has more in common with her and invite her/him to hang out with you two. Keep it small then over time add maybe 2 more people in the mix.

Don't forget about the other friends you have. Still spend time with them so they don't think you're suddenly ditching them for no reason.

I hope this helps!!

I would throw the shy one up in the air first and start slow. Once you got the hang of that.... toss another up and see if you can keep them going. Add a third and alternate hands. You could try variations and try bouncing them off walls n stuff.

Dangit... Bralex beat me too it.... and nice touch with the fire thing

you should get her to be more outgoing or hang out with just a few people with her and slowly add more people...
