Adaware from Lavasoft. Ewido. Spybot. Trendmicro House call scan.If you mean Task Manger you have to fix it in the registry look here http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Taskmanager_error.htm. You may have to run multiple programs and take various steps including but not limited to- booting into safe mode and disabling sytem restore while running (1 at a time each)
Then there's a tool called hijackthis which may be useful, but read carefully how to use it and don't use it to disable anything unless instructed to. Use it more as a research tool to find specific fixes.Hijack this is more useful to diagnose than stop services.

ya know you may have spyfalcon(very very bad), if you do and your computer illiterate, your screwed, or you need to learn some things like google :). anyways spybot search and destroy is prolly the best.
