This often leaves me feeling very uncomfortable in my mind, with a blank space where there was an interesting question that I aimlessly search now for a clue. ‘It is silly’, I often think, ‘I should have written that down.’ But I would say instead, perhaps this is very intelligence of our own mind. For all questions are not for asking, this I understand, and even when asked all questions are not for really answering; some thoughts are at their best when they stay as questions. The fact is that we ask, or at least tend to ask only those questions the answers of which we already know. By asking publicly, we just want to make ourselves realise of the answers already present in our mind. The deep structural analysis of even most ordinary of questions can reveal import aspects of our inner mind with regard to our inhibitions in certain peculiar circumstances. The first answer to any question therefore is the question itself.
If you have forgotten the question that you were going to ask, not very uncommon when you are intellectually acting and thinking, then rest assured that you have already answered your question subconsciously; otherwise that question would not have departed from your conscious mind.
