the one in my desktop computer was making a HORRIBLE buzzing sound so i unplugged it...

Extremely, extremely important.

If yours isn't working, turn off your PC RIGHT NOW and get a replacement fan.

Your CPU will be permanently damaged within a matter of minutes from the buildup of excessive heat.

The CPU will overheat. You need to have it looked at. If you're going to continue using the computer you need to plug the fan back in.

one of the biggest things that cause deteriation in a computer is heat so a cpu fan is fairly important

ITS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING it the comp overheats u will see the blue screen of death sooner or later and thats no bueno my friend dont fry ur comp plus the fan back in or get it fixed ASAP

It is very important. The CPU will get hot and unless that heat is dissipated it will burn out.

Geeez replace it now!!!
CPU fan is soo important to cool it or it will fry!!

Plug it back in or get a new one NOW!!!!! Your cpu will overheat without it.

i'm guessing very important cuz it helps cool the cpu. but if it dosnt i'm guessing it heats up and goes *BOOM*
