i went to speed lube today... looking to get my oil changed but they said i need all of this crap... here is the descriptions....
full service oil change..
radiator service flush and fill
antifreeze and collant
well... heres my problem.... my car when it is stopped looks like its over heating what the problem with this... smoke comes out from under the hood... what is it?!?!?

your thermostat could be bad. your radiator fan may not work. you have a leak somewhere and it is spraying on the hot parts of the engine.

i own a repair shop,and it could be anything,,you need to look at it when its idling and see where the smoke is coming from on it,,its impossible for me to tell you anything from this point,there's a lot of things that can cause it to run hot,,thermostat or radiator,,find the smoke first,,then we might be able to give a better answer,,good luck with it,hope this help,s.,,have a good x-mas.

it souns like the car is over heating and the thermostat is stuck or the water pump is going bad and leaking did they say it was low on antifreeze and if theycharg you twiceforthe same thing their is a problem with that shopcause the coolent and aintifreeze isthe same thing one thing you can try and see is turn your radiator cap just a little so their i no pressure and watch your temp gage

well stop and pop the hood is it smoke or antifreeze steam comming from a leaky radiator or hose conection...the modern aluminum and plastic rads tend to leak at the seams..if so you get a new one they don't fix them anymore

i agree with dodge man.when its idleing,raise the hood and see where the smoke coming from.

your thermostat needs replace or your heater core needs replaced

its coolant let them do a flush and it should stop.
