i have heard before that if you rubed your feet agains a rug and then you touch another object or person it would feel like a little shock for them i dont remember if it was static friction or another type of friction. but i would like to know how to do that???? any websites??????? thanx!!!!

You mean static electricity? Sure, just wear a wool sweater in the fall. You'll get lots of static, or pull your clothes out of the dryer with no dryer sheets.
Here's another cool experiment that actually works. Take a lifesaver with the green or blue center and go into a room with no windows and a mirror. Stand in front of the mirror so you can see yourself. Turn off the light and then watch yourself bite into the mint. You will see what looks like an electric charge.

Static electricity.

This is an imbalance of electrons. Certain materials when rubbed together transfer electrons. You then have a charge and when you touch something that makes a path the electrons flow. Nylon carpet is good. You can rub a balloon on your hair and build up a charge imbalance and then the attractive force makes the balloon stick to things.
