The best way would be to ask him what kind of things he likes, if you don't already know. Is he interested in reading? If so, what type of books interest him?
Does he spend time and money on his car? A motorcycle? A boat?
Does he exercise? Jog? Run? Lift weights? If so, you could get him something that might be useful for those type of interests...........a book or a compass, some kind of decor to hang inside the car.
The idea is to give him something that coincides with his interests and would please him. It is a gift and not something that has to be perfect. He can buy the things he really wants for himself - get him something that is a little "something extra".
It really is the thought that counts, so use some thought to figure out what might please him and I'm sure he'll recognize and appreciate the time and effort you put out in his behalf.
Merry Christmas!

i imagine you need to basically say, "pay interest, mom. i extremely do savour that you try to save the Christmas spirit alive and that i love it. yet i'm 14 now and that i understand there is not a Santa Claus. anybody knows there is not and that is time that you enable me develop up. i'm not somewhat toddler anymore." On a aspect be conscious, my call is Sandy Claus. Legally, that's Sandra Claus yet i bypass with the help of Sandy. heavily. that's ridiculous and that i'm getting grief about it regular. Even i don't have that a lot Christmas spirit, and also you'll imagine with a recognition like mine that i often is the worst.

Well if he is that picky get recipes of the enternet and bake them for him. That is what I'm doing for Christmas. You could make choclate chip cookies, buy sugar cookies from the store and use cookie cutters and frostings and etc. My dad is picky to and he loves getting that for Christmas! Have a Merry Christmas. Whatever you do for you dad I hope he likes it!! GOOD LUCK!! :)

The best way to find the right gift is to know their interests...Sometimes a subscription to a magazine is a nice gift...because if they always thought of traveling, cooking, or a being a mechanic...or what- ever this could help them realize their dream.
And this gift is one year of giving.

i suggest working tools, wine, books of his interests, sports stuff. what ever he likes but thoes are typical gifts for dads.
gift cards are kinda a bad idea for a dad because your mom and dad and probably family share money. so you are pretty much giving him his money right back to him just on a card.

well my dad is usually hard to by for too, but this year I just looked around to see what he needed and would also liked. I noticed his slippers were looking a little old so thats what I got him. so I would say just look around or just ask! if you have brothers and sisters ask them too and your mom. (even if your parents arent married anymore she will still give you ideas)
